America is at a crossroads.
Over two centuries ago, citizens of vision and courage crafted a document, the United States Constitution, as the supreme law of our nation to guide our laws, to safeguard our liberties, and to ensure America’s prosperity and security. It has been amended through a process laid out in the document itself. Through its guidance the most prosperous and free society in history, America, has met every challenge that has come its way.
Now the fundamental underpinnings of America are slowly being undermined by fiscal irresponsibility, by governmental overreach, and by a leader who apologizes at home and abroad for our nation, a nation that has fought for the freedom of others and whose generosity has been worldwide. We are now witnessing a bold and tenacious effort to transform our society from a creative and free people to one of governmental dependence and international weakness.
The Louisiana Federation of Republican Women invites you to join with them to stem the tide.
We are a group of over 2100 women banded together in 39 clubs from all over our state. We are determined to work for the values and principles of the Republican Party and to elect dedicated Republicans to office. Our members vary in age, occupation, ethnicities, and background. We are truly a unique volunteer force that is unmatched by any other political body.
We work to influence local, state, and federal legislation. We support excellence in education and sponsor numerous literacy projects. We advocate free enterprise, keeping our members informed on issues threatening the rights of citizens to engage in trade and industry. We demand a strong national defense and support our troops fighting for our nation’s security. We are heavily involved in the campaign efforts of Republicans at every level of government. We support our communities and make efforts to teach the foundational documents of our republic. We train women activists and future party leaders. Our members are informed citizens committed to the cause of good government. We are not afraid to let our voices be heard.
Moreover, we are part of a larger group of dedicated Republican volunteers - the National Federation of Republican Women - with over 150,00 members from every state in the Union, in the District of Columbia, and in Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. NFRW’s national office is in Alexandria, VA, close to the centers of national power. By being part of the NFRW we can work with women activists across America to advance our fundamental Republican goals.
