LFRW Membership Application

The Louisiana Federation of Republican Women (LFRW) welcomes you to join our group of energetic, concerned, and informed activists for the Republican Party.  By joining you will not only be a part of over 2000 of an army of strong Republican Women in all parts of our state, but you will automatically be a member of the National Federation of Republican Women.   The National Federation reaches from “sea to shining sea,” having members in all 50 states, American territories, and even residents of foreign countries.

The Louisiana Federation of Republican Women is composed of 39 clubs in communities across our state.  It is open to all registered Republicans who believe in the principles of the Republican Party.  To become an active member of a club, you must be a registered Republican 18 years or older. LFRW welcomes the formation of new clubs in any parish or community where presently there is no local club.  If you are interested in starting a club where there is a need, the Regional Vice President of the geographic area nearby your community will offer you assistance.  For more information on the Regional Vice President of your area contact us at info@lfrw.org.

The benefits to membership in the LFRW are numerous.  They include the following: 

  • Become a more informed voter,
  • Learn more about local, state, and national issues,
  • Meet candidates for elective office and political leaders at local, state and national levels,
  • Get involved in campaigns and elections to make your voices heard,
  • Help elect Republican candidates,
  • Networking opportunities,
  • Leadership training including the NFRW's Campaign management schools- Campaign Management Schools,
  • Work with the Republican Party of Louisiana,
  • Develop Republican women as candidates,
  • Receive updated information from the National Federation of Republican Women including weekly e-mail newsletter, political briefings, CAP Alerts about legislation at the Federal level and the official NFRW publication, The Republican Woman,
  • Receive updated information from the LFRW about legislation at the state level,
  • Have the opportunity to attend biannual board meetings and biennial national conventions, both of which include interactive workshops, exciting speakers, and informative programs and discussions,
  • Participate with other LFRW women in a variety of community service projects.
