Cap Alert Committee

The Comprehensive Advocacy Program (CAP) involves our members in influencing members of Congress, state legislators, and/or federal or state administrators on critical issues. Both the Louisiana Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women monitor critical issues in legislative bodies and governmental proceedings on the state and federal level.  With the permission of the State Federation President, the LFRW Chair of this committee marshals our members to send letters, faxes, e-mails, and phone calls to federal or state public servants whenever there is a need for massive grassroots action.  Our members also speak out on nominations to positions of power, treaty ratifications, policy adoptions or revisions, chief executive vetoes, and other important governmental actions.  When NFRW and LFRW thousands of women activists speak in one voice, they can impact the direction of our nation and our state.
