Thank you for your interest in Franklin Republican Women! Our club was chartered in 1988 so our members have celebrated over 20 years as a positive influence for the betterment of Franklin, Saint Mary Parish, Louisiana, and our Great Nation.

Support Our Troops

Franklin Republican Women have donated 64 boxes of good to the National Guard Troop #256 and has received over $6,000 for phone cards for these soldiers to call home when deployed.

Civics for Kids / Up with Words

Franklin Republican Women have delivered dictionaries to every third grader in St Mary Parish: over 800 students! We have also distributed copies of the Declaration of Independence / United States Constitution booklets for each fifth and tenth grader in the parish.

Americanism

Franklin Republican Women have donated over $7,000 to purchase American Flags for the City of Franklin.

Senior Programs

Franklin Republican Women have donated $300 for fans in the summer and $300 for heaters in the winter to help our seniors stay safe and comfortable in extreme weather.

Mamie Eisenhower Library Program

Franklin Republican Women have donated books recommended by the National Federation of Republican Women to all seven libraries in our parish. MELP Chairman Patsy Metz and her committee delivered nearly 40 Ronald Regan books donated by members to the libraries.

Toys for Tots

Franklin Republican Women donated a plethora of toys and nearly $1,000 for St Mary Parish in 2009.

Legislative / CAP Program

Each member of the Franklin Republican Women is alerted by e-mail of all Legislative Issues and Bills presented at the State and National level. Each member can contact their Representative, Senator, and Congressmen on the spot to make their voice heard.

Membership Program

Franklin Republican Women strive continuously to increase our membership numbers and our influence. We work to promote the principles, objectives, and policies of the Republican Party; to elect Republican Candidates; to inform the public through political education and activity; and to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government. Franklin Republican Women holds membership in the Louisiana Federation of Republican Women as well as the National Federation of Republican Women.
